Hello!

Today I tried to wear all white and red, but I don't have shoes or skirt in those colors :( so I chose black as the "other" color ^^  the reason for these colors is that today Vancouver celebrated the 1st anniversary of the Olympics , which in my opinion is a very weird anniversary , but they found a good reason to make a party so I was there hehehe

They made activities in many places around downtown... so I will put pictures of what I could see ^^

The Olympic torch which is very cool!!! and this time they let us get closer to the torch ^^

They were also ice skating hehehe

There was a small parade which was very fun it was from something called Public Dreams, their costumes were very dreamy but we couldn't  take good pictures of them ><

Then we went towards Yale Town , that the main theme there was lights.

First we went to see the train engine... is so cool to see real old stuffs, I really enjoyed my short time there, then we just walked on the streets and saw other cool stuffs

Then we went to see some concerts, at first we saw a band called Said The Whale .... I didn't know them, but I really liked them and I will try to find some of their music so that I can keep listening to them.
Then there was a DJ party but the camera battery died XD
But I had lots of fun with the band and the DJ.... I jumped a lot and my legs now hart hheheh

Granville Street

HEllo!
As I told you I will continue today about my trip Yesterday.
We passed over Granville street , which in the summer is very nice.. They closed it and all the street is for walking... I think that such streets are lovely they are all for you.
In the summer there are a lot of performances in the street which is very cool... while you're are walking you are being entertained lol
then we went towards the museum... which really.... I cannot recall any famous artist in there XD maybe it give you the opportunity to know new artists ....
Really I cannot remember anything special about the places, sorry :(
There was a small fake aquarium to take a tour .. It was cool but sooo short hehhe  I will put pictures so you can understand how was it ^^

Como les dije les seguire contando sobre mi paseo ayer...

Pasamos por Granville Street, Que en verano la hace una peatonal donde los hay artistas perfomando! esas clases de calles me encantan ya que estas entretenido mientras caminas jjaja

despues fuimos al museo, que de veras no me puedo acordar de nadie famoso que este ahi jejje de una manera puede ser bueno ya que te da a conocer a nuevos artitas. No me puedo recordar nada especial de cuando estuve ahi perdon ><

habia como un aquario falso, que estaba bonito pero el tour fue suuuper corto jejje, les puse fotos para que vean como era.

今日も昨日の続きでバンクーバーのダウンタウンを紹介したいと思います。
メインストリートの１つであるグランビルストリートでは、夏に歩行者天国が行われていて、沢山のパフォーマーの方々がいるので歩いているだけでもすごく楽しいです。
バンクーバーの美術館は、正直なところ有名な作品があったかどうかも覚えていませんが、行ってみたら何か見つかるかもしれませんね。
昨日はそんな美術館の前の広場でちょっとしたイベントがやっていました。イベントは疑似水族館みたいなもので、とても楽しめたのですが、ちょっと短すぎるツアーだった気がします。どんなイベントだったのかわかるように、いくつかの写真を載せておきますね。

Downtown

Hello!!
Today we went to downtown, and it was a very cold day ... at least for me heheh
I wore the pink sweater that I really like and it's very warm, the scarf that I have had since I was very little and a skirt my grandma made for me ... so the scarf and the skirt are very precious to me and that is something that makes me feel happier ^^
As I said, today we went to downtown, and the thing that I like and maybe others won't like is that is not that huge...and for a person like me who tends to get lost most of the times is a big thing and even if you get lost you will find your way very easily again. I'm not trying to say that you will get to know all the places in one day but most of the streets are main streets and are connected to each other.
You can find nice stores, restaurants, coffee shops and lots of other stuffs in most of the streets ^^
So our "trip" today started in the library ( which the TV series Fringe uses as a fringe division in the other world.. haha I'm such a geek )
I like the library. It's a very big and nice building, I like the inside as well which has some coffee shops and stores  ... I like such places , they are very pleasant!
I think what makes this downtown a nice place is the public peace and cleanness ...  the bad thing is that there are a lot of homeless on the street, well mostly in the summer ... I can tell that a lot of coffee shops or seven eleven have an homeless asking for money in front of the door >< , but anyway it doesn't ruin the comfort of this city ^^
I think I will leave the rest for tomorrow XD

Hola! Hoy me fui para el centro y hacia mucho firo... por lo menos para mi jeje

Me puse el sweater rosa que es muy calentito, tambien la bufanda que la tengo desde muy chiquita, y la falda que me hiso mi abuela ... la bufanda y la falda son muy valiosos para mi y eso me hace estar mas contenta ^^

Como les dije hoy fui para el centro y lo que mas me gusta es que no es tan grande y para un persona que siempre se anda perdiendo es una gran cosa y si te llegas a perder encontras el camino muy facilmente.

Lo que quiero decir es que no lo vas a conocer en un o dos dia pero la mayoria de la calles son centrales y conectadas entre ellas, tambien vas a poder encontrar muchos negosios, cafes, restaurantes y cosas asi en la mayoria de las calles.

Nuestro paseo empeso en la libreria que es un edifio grande y muy interesante, a mi me gusta mucho por dentro tambien donde hay algunos cafes y algun negosio... es un lugar muy placentero y te hace sentir comodo. (la serie Fringe lo usa como la division de fringe en el otro mundo... jejeje)

Lo que me gusta de este centro es que es muy tranquilo y limpio... lo malo quizas es que hay muchos vagabundo por las calles, en verano se ven mas claro... les puedo decir que muchos cafes y lagunos kioskos tienen alguno esperando en la puerta pidiendo plata >< pero eso no le saca mucho y sigue siendo un lugar muy comodo para vivir.

Creo que voy a seguir maniana.

今日はかなり寒かったのですが、ダウンタウンに行ってきました。

とても暖かいピンクのセーターと小さい頃から愛用しているスカーフに祖母が作ってくれたスカートを着てみました。スカーフとスカートはとても大事にしているもので、着るたびに幸せな気分になります。

バンクーバーのダウンタウンはとても小さいので、私は好きですが、不満に思う人もいるかもしれません。 それでも、主なストリートはそれぞれ繋がっいて見つけやすいので、私のようにすぐに道に迷ってしまうようなタイプの人にとっては優しい街かもしれません。それに、ほとんどのストリートでカフェやレストラン、素敵なショップが見つけられます。

そんなわけで、本日の私たちの小さな「旅」は「図書館」から始まりました。（ちなみにすこしオタクっぽい情報ですが、この図書館はドラマ「Fringe」で使われていますよ）

素敵な外観だけではなく、建物の中にもカフェやいくつかのショップがあって本当に素敵な図書館です。

バンクーバーのダウンタウンの素晴らしいところはその清潔さと安全性で、ちょっとどうにかならないかなと思うところは、特に夏になると、お金を求めてくるホームレスの方々が道のあちこちで見られることですね。ほとんどのカフェやセブンイレブンの前にいるような気さえします。とはいっても、やはりバンクーバーのダウンタウンがすごく素敵で安全で快適な場所であることにはかわりないと私は思います。

Hello!!

So... Yesterday When I was writing the blog I decided to do small reviews about places in Vancouver, since this is my last month in here and I need some motivation to go out and not to stay home most of the time And to help some people that might come here or just want to know about ^^ 

So I will start with The mall in Metro-town which the names is Metropolis (what better than that for the first time)

Metro Town as one of the biggest mall in Canada, Locate in Burnaby,.. as well is main station for buses so I guess there are many lines that bring you here, but you can come by Skytrain as well .

This mall has lots of stores, so for sure you will find a place that you like! Of course it has some stores that other malls in here don't have ... some of those would be:

Forever 21 , Urban planet, Winners and Urban behavior , If it had H&M it would be perfect!

Forever 21 will be soon open in another mall, but this forever 21 has two floors and is really big ... I will really miss this store when I go back home ><

Of course, it has these shops like other malls : Banana Republic,Gap, Eprite, Guess , ect ....

The mall has as well  restaurants (I guess most of them are Japanese) , It has a Super Store ( a Big supermarket that is a little bit cheaper and there are only Two in Vancouver ), an Asian Supermarket in the last floor And a Game zone.

Ayer mientras estava escribiendo el blog se me vino la idea de escribir cada dia sobre una parte de vancouver, ya que este es mi ultimo mes aqui y necesito algo que me motive a salir de casa y ayudar alguna gente que quiera venir o simplemente le interese ^^

Entoces voy a empesar con el shopping que esta en metro town que se llama metropolis (que mejor que esto para empesar)

Este shopping es uno de los mas grande de canada y tiene muchos negosios, entonces que seguro encontras algo que te guste.

Los negosios que lo diferencia de los demas son Forever 21, Urban planet (que ultimamente tiene una collecion media romanica y es varato) Winners y Urban behavior.

Pronto van a habrir un Forever 21 en otra locacion, pere este logal es muy grande y tiene dos pisos. de Veras que voy a extraniar este negosio!

Los demas son todo lo mismo que otros shoppings como : Banana Republic, Gap, Guess, ect....

lo demas que tiene es un Super Store ( que es un supermercado muy grande y mas varato que los demas solo hay dos en Vancouver), Una sona de video juegos, restaurantes y un supermercado asiatico.

Hoy comi un putin en New York Fries que me encantan : es papafirtas con gravy caliente ... es un salsa del reino unido tiene muy rico gusto (quizas medio dulson) y con quezo derretido.

Depues fuimos a jugar a los videos juegos , jugue a tocar tambores, stepmania y algunos mas ^^

こんにちは！

突然なのですが、昨日このブログを書いているときに、バンクーバーを紹介する記事を書いてみることに決めてみました。というのも、今月は私にとってここバンクーバーで生活する最後の月なのです。これからここにくる人や関心のある人の役に立てばという思っています。外に出るきっかけにもなりそうですし。

ではまず初めに、カナダで２番目に大きいといわれているショッピングモール「メトロタウン-メトロポリス」です。場所はバーナビーです。このモールの前には大きなバスの停留所があるので、色んなバスを使って来れると思います。もちろんスカイトレインでも来れますよ。

このモールには本当にたくさんのお店があるので、間違いなく素敵なお店を見つけることができますよ。それに加えて「Forever 21」や「Urban planet」「Winners」「Urban behavior」「Zara」なんかの他のモールではあまり見ないショップもあります。もし「H&M」があったら、もうほとんど完璧なんですけどね。

実は「Forever 21」はリッチモンドにあるモールでも出店の予定があるのですが、ここのは２フロアもあるし、とても大きいのです。（家にもどったらなつかしくなるんだろうなぁ）ちなみに「Banana Republic」や「Gap」「Eprite」「Guess」なんかももちろんありますよ。

このモールには他にレストラン（ほとんどは日本食のレストランのような気もします）、「Super Store」（バンクーバーに２店舗しかない、とても大きくてちょっと安めのスーパーマーケットです）、アジア系のスーパー、ゲームセンターなんかもあります。

今日は「New York Fries」で大好きなPutinを食べて、ゲームセンター（置いてあるもののほとんど全てが日本のゲームでした）では、ダンスダンスレボリューションやマリオカート、太鼓の達人なんかで楽しめた素敵な一日でした！

Today I had very long and fun day!

At the begining we went to eat Ramen at Brodway City Hall in a place called Men-ya It was ok.... but I was so happy eating it anyway

Then we went to Kitsilano beach, which was very very very very windy lol
The thing that made happy was that the clothes looked so nice flowing in the wind They looked like waves and I can say the same about my hair lol... maybe the hat was a little bothersome as it flew from my head a few times hehehe (and my hair as well ) , but anyway now I can lough about it.

Hoy tuvimos un largo y divertido dia!

Al principio fuimos a comer Ramen en Brodway City Hall en un lugar que me llama Men-Ya. No es uno de los mejores pero igual lo disfrute bastante ^^

Despues fuimos a la playa de Kitsilano... que hacia un viento de locos!! pero me gusto como lusia mi ropa que flotaban como olas en el viento y mi pelo tambien hehehe. Lo que quizas fue un poco molesto era el sombrero que me puse que se me volo como dos veces de la cabeza ( lo mismo va para mi pelo), pero igual son cosas graciosas para recordar

Hello!

Now that I have free time again, I want to do as many stuff as possible... and try to be a little bit productive even if what I do is not that important.

Today I cooked a very simple dish which my grandma usually makes and is one of my favorites : potatoes and chicken on the stew-pan.

My boyfriend cooks most of the times, but now I hope I will cook as much as he do ^^

Ahora que  tengo otra vez tiempo libre, no lo quiero malgastar entonces voy a hacer lo mas que pueda con este tiempo y ser mas productiva aprendiendo nuevas cosas...

Como que hoy me puse a cocinar despues de mucho tiempo de no hacerlo, hice pollo con papas a la cacerola como mi abuela hace que es unas de mis comidas favoritas.

Mi novio es el que cocina la mayoria de las veces pero ahora quiero cocinar las mismas veces como el ^^
